An Access to Higher Education course is intended to help those without level 3 qualifications can entry to a Higher Education course within the related field. Students who complete Access to HE in Computing may progress on to a related course at a number of UK universities.
The Computing Level 3 Diploma course aims to develop your understanding and competence in a range of computing modules as well as your independent study skills. All students will study a range of key areas including principles and fundamentals of computer science and computer systems, planning and management of computing projects and developing the skills and knowledge in the design and creation of software using programming languages. In addition, all students will explore areas of security, encryption and applications of social media.
